SEASON OPENER — TITLE DEFENcE BEGINS TONIGHT!

The Edson Eagles are ready to open the 2026–27 NJHL season on the road tonight in Athabasca as they take on the Athabasca Rivermen.

Tonight marks the beginning of a new chapter for the Eagles as they enter the season looking to defend their first-ever NJHL Championship.

After capturing the championship last season, Edson will begin its title defense with a road test against the Rivermen. The Eagles will be looking to set the tone early, compete hard from the opening faceoff, and start their championship defence on the right foot.
