The Edson Eagles are very proud to announce that our very own #29 Carson Baptiste has signed and committed to the Evansville Thunderbolts of the SPHL.
The Evansville Thunderbolts are located in Indiana and play in the Southern Professional Hockey League (SPHL). The SPHL is the 4th level of professional hockey in North America. 1-NHL, 2-AHL, 3-ECHL, 4-SPHL.
Carson Baptiste hails from Maskwacis, Alberta, is 6’0 and 170 lbs. The skilled forward broke a team record and set a league record for most goals, and points in a single season putting up 100 goals, 79 assists for 179 points in only 37 games.
Carson had this to say about his experience in Edson
“ It was a great experience to play for the Edson Eagles, and I’m grateful to have been apart of the team for the past season. This couldn’t have been done without coach Ryder Prue and I’m very grateful for him getting me this opportunity to continue my hockey!”
